A commission for a beautiful family with a young baby named Nico. They gave Contrast his passport and that was it! The family is Greek & British with a spice of Thai in the mix. The past is full of history and stories and food, and the future looks no different with this stunning Commission featuring multi layer graphics with hand blown neon and gemstones!
What are the odds?
This work exists to point to the archetypes we hold in our memory of people from the past. The artist did this for an old friend as he was many years ago, not how he is today. The discussion after showed how much both people had covered in the space between, and lit a firm commitment to understand them better now.
